Welcome to Eton Grove QH & ASH Stud
We are a small stud based in Charters Towers QLD. We breed quality QH's & ASH's from well bred mares with working bloodlines who have proved their worth during their years of working with us, wether it be mustering, farm work or competition.
We strive to consistently breed pretty & correct foals who will excel in a broad field for you; from working bred horses that can halter to cutting, campdrafting, sporting, hacking, you name it! They are very versatile. Our foals are fully handled before they leave including being halter broken, trim feet and are trucked a few times as well. We are happy to do more or less handling as customer desires.
Broken in stock is sometimes available. All foals are registered, branded & dna'd before they are sold.
We stand our own stallion AMAROO FORGOTTON HERO Q-34549 who is breeding pretty foals with cow sense and quiet natures. His foals have competed & are winning in fields such as cutting, campdrafting, sporting, showjumping and hacking with huge success. Please view or Progeny page for details.
We have just purchased a 2006 buckskin dual reg colt LAZY D ROCKS GOLDDIGGER A2-1863 & ASH 183724 who will be standing at stud in 2009. He will put some colour & new bloodlines over our hero daughters and broodmares. He should mature at least 15.2hh or higher. Q-reg AQHA mares that breed to him will produce dual reg foals - A3 QH rego & 1stx ASH rego and may even be triple reg if the foals are born dilute or mares have other registrations. LFG is also offered, conditions apply.
We have youngstock for sale at most times, please feel free to give us a ring and inquire. You never know what we may have thats not listed on the website yet (we are very new to this) and we are very happy to have a chat. If we happen to not answer please leave a message and we will ring you back.
